Straight off the plane from the States and a little jet-lagged, I shot body-art model and makeup artist Kandy K in September at Adrian Pini studios, North London. Full lips, piercing eyes and a striking layer of tattoos made for some interesting compositions courtesy of a big red heart-shaped balloon, a pair of scissors and picture frame.
