LEAP gala dinner, November 2011

LEAP held their annual gala dinner, ‘The Big Push’, at St Paul’s in London. I had the privilege of being invited as a guest as well as their official photographer for the evening. The event was a full house and attended by a large number of LEAP supporters, including comedian Shazia Mirza, who did a fantastic job of fundraising on the night.

LEAP job fair, October 2011

LEAP held their very first youth job fair on Wednesday 5th October at the Methodist Central Hall in Westminster. I spent the afternoon mingling with and photographing LEAP staff, their supporters from PricewaterhouseCoopers, young people and employers.

The day was a huge success for LEAP, with over 260 young people in attendance and 17 employers offering more than 250 opportunities across finance, accounting, IT, hospitality, catering, web design and administration. Thanks to everyone there for your participation and enthusiasm on the day.

I spent a day at LEAP’s headquarters to capture a visual record of their services. LEAP are using my photographs to re-image their website and for other marketing and communications purposes. Thanks again to both staff and clients for your participation on the day!

On Sunday July 31st LEAP Chief Executive Tunde Banjoko OBE was interviewed in BBC London Radio’s Inspirit show with Jumoke Fashola. They discussed the current unemployment situation, community projects and the importance of the work LEAP does.
