April, 2012
I was commissioned by the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association (CBA) to record their four-day international conference in Brisbane, Australia. Titled Media Leadership in Crisis, Disaster and Emergency , the conference was attended by delegates and speakers from public broadcasting organisations across the Commonwealth.

The opening ceremony was held at the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) on Sunday 22 April. Speakers included H.E. Ms Penelope Wensley AC, Governor of Queensland, Ms Moneeza Hashmi, CBA president, and the Honourable James Spigelman AC QC, ABC chairman. Delegates were welcomed by Songwoman Maroochy of the Turrbal People, and entertained by Ngaiire Joseph, the South Pacific Island Dance Group and Darky Roots.

The River Room at GoMA was a truly stunning venue for welcoming guests from all over the world. The photos show just how much everyone enjoyed themselves!

Visit the CBA Conference website for details. More photos can be viewed on the CBA flickr photostream.

The conference was trending on twitter via @cbamedia, and #CBAconf and @CBAstu hashtags.
